Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata

Image

Reading: A key to a Beautiful Future

Image
Reading is a form of acquiring knowledge, it helps people understand what they cannot and can improve they're vocabulary. Reading gives a lot of benefits and provide no disadvantage to the reader. One can acquire different skills and knowledge from different books or any type of literature, although that would be the case, many people aren't fond of reading or find reading boring. Those people who find reading boring are justifiable, they may be unable to enjoy cracking open a book and reading for hours by a window or within a quiet space cause they might not be accustomed to it or they may have Aphantasia ( Aphantasia  is the suggested name for a condition where one does not possess a functioning mind's eye and cannot voluntarily visualize imagery) that prevents them from enjoying reading books cause they can't visualize what they have read. Although that may be true, reading isn't just limited to novels or those sophisticated books that most bookworms are imme...

Second Quarter Reflection

Image
The second quarter of class was very educational, we've discussed the different internet access, further read on URLs and learned how to make HTML files. The second quarter was very interesting and it further increased my knowledge of technology and their benefits to society. It was fun learning different commands in making an HTML file, and I found it one of my favorite tasks. Although I can't deny the fact that it can be stressful to make outputs in HTML when it's rushed or when there's no time to do it. The second quarter came to me similar to but different from the first quarter, not like the first quarter, the second quarter was less stressful and more fun to work on. I was enjoying learning on the topics and was increasing my knowledge on the internet at the same time. The only thing that I think made it stressful, was the fact that we had to rush a lot of the outputs because of limited time to do it. The second quarter overall, was fun and made me more int...

A Teacher

Image
We are all well aware that teachers have a lot of work they have to do, and that they do them very responsibly. Teachers are cruel, strict, over exerting and forceful, these are commonly used to describe the common teacher. Students tend to gossip or ignore teachers they're not fond of or dislike personally. I personally think that's stupid, teachers may come off as strict or overexerting, but that's only because they work hard for our sake. We as students tend to ignore their sacrifices, their kindness and how caring they are when we get a really bad first impression. Although teachers already know this, that some or most students potentially hate them, they don't  go off and make a fuss over these, and I really respect them for that, they not only help us learn and force us to understand the material so that we can learn, they do it even if it affects their reputation. They don't overly try to improve their reputation to the students, cause they're more conce...

"Human Rights"

The commemoration of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty took place on 17 October 2018 at UN Headquarters in New York under the theme: “Coming together with those furthest behind to build an inclusive world of universal respect for human rights and dignity." This year marks the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It is important to recall the fundamental connection between extreme poverty and human rights, and that people living in poverty are disproportionately affected by many human rights violations. Joseph Wresinski was one of the first persons to highlight this direct link between human rights and extreme poverty. In February 1987, he appealed to the Human Rights Commission to examine the question of extreme poverty and human rights and eloquently captured the nexus between human rights and extreme poverty with h...
