Why we celebrate Independence Day
Independence day, more commonly known as the day of freedom in the Philippines. As the name suggests, we celebrate it, for the sole reason of claiming freedom after a long period of time, but is that really the case?
Independence day may be the day we celebrate freedom, but more importantly , we celebrate all the National Heroes who "fought" for this freedom. All their efforts, pain and their bravery, though this single day we remember their heroic deeds and offer our utmost respect for them.

That is why, on this day we should be excited, not cause of a no school/no work day, but a day where people who couldn't go to school fought, for us to experience what we have today.
Independence day is our soul tribute to the fallen Heroes of the Philippines, who achieved freedom through hard work and countless efforts.
