Change starts with me, this is one common quote and phrase heard anywhere, and even if it's taken out of context, people still understand the meaning, why is that? It's because people naturally have a mindset to change for the better, people know that change is a way that people can solve their problems, but if there's no effort exerted into said change, then it still won't be of use to anyone.

Change starts with every individual. They have the the ability to improve, to grow, to change. Although as that would be the case, a lot of people still don't contribute to this change, they enjoy doing nothing rather than hard work. Laziness, one of the main causes of the depletion and halt of improvement in our country, we must unite to work on this "change" together, no single individual can attain such a feat, we know that, yet we refuse to cooperate with others sometimes. We need to stop being uncooperative and start being unified with our country.

Change starts with everyone, no one is alone, but if you refuse to take that change or refuse to change for the better, then you'll lose all significance as a member of this country, you're nothing more than a waste of space, but if you start working on it, no matter how trivial it may be, you're contributing to society, so be proud.

Why we celebrate Independence Day

                                 Independence day, more commonly known as the day of freedom in the Philippines. As the name suggests, we celebrate it, for the sole reason of claiming freedom after a long period of time, but is that really the case?                  Independence day may be the day we celebrate freedom, but more importantly , we celebrate all the National Heroes who "fought" for this freedom. All their efforts, pain and their bravery, though this single day we remember their heroic deeds and offer our utmost respect for them. President Duterte: S.O.N.A. 2018

                        On July 23, 2018, President Duterte made his third SONA, which was his shortest SONA with a span of 48 minutes which was beyond his promise 35 minutes due to a couple of remarks he did during his speech. Compared to his previous SONA where he  went off-script with a long-winded tirade against critics in a speech that lasted two hours, Duterte in 2018 stuck mostly to his prepared speech without the usual expletives.               He talked about the main topics he'd prepared for his speech, he mainly talked about the unrelenting drug war, stating that it was far from over.  Duterte rants against illegal drugs and how it ruins lives but does not cite specific numbers on how his administration's anti-drug war addressed this problem. He had promised to end this problem within 6 months.
